I received my BSc in microbiology from Islamic Azad University- Iran. Afterwards I joined the Department of Virology at the Tehran University of Medical Sciences where I completed my master thesis on the impacts of human papillomavirus infection on prostate carcinoma. Since February 2014 I am part of the OCUVAC team. As a PhD student at the Centre of Ocular Inflammation and Infection, I am working on coinfections of Chlamydia species and their effect on the host cells under the supervision of Prof. Talin Barisani-Asenbauer.
